Camping in Costa Rica

When you think of Costa Rica, chances are you think of nature.  Whether you dream of viewing volcanoes, scarlet macaws or even red-eyed tree frogs, Costa Rica offers a wealth of unique camping experiences for visitors to enjoy set amongst 26 National Parks ranging from coast to coast.

But it definitely pays to plan ahead and bring some of your own camping equipment to Costa Rica as it will be much easier on your budget (and stress level) than trying to make purchases once you arrive.  Yeomans Outdoor Leisure has a great selection to choose from plus they're currently offering a massive tent clearance - check these out:

Their Peakland Eyam 200 Tent is a super lightweight tent weighing in at only 2.6kg (5-1/2 lbs) - perfect for just about any backpack while provided sleeping space for two.

Or check out this Peakland Sonic 200 Pop Up Tent on sale now for only £19.99 (USD $32)!  And it comes in fun colors like purple, grey (shown), forest green, teal green and pink - it also sleeps two and weighs only 2.1 kg (4 1/2 lbs).

Another thing you may want grab before leaving home is a lightweight Mosquito Net - it's a must have for many areas an only weighs a mere 180 grams (under 1/2  a pound).

Yeomans Outdoor Leisure also has a full selection of sleeping bags, hiking footwear, and outdoor apparel.  I love this gorgeous raspberry colored ladies Granite Brianna Waterproof Jacket for only £18.99 (USD $31), a must-have if you'll be venturing into Costa Rica's rainforest ;)
